Longtime Perry Public Library Children’s Librarian Suzanne Kestel was feted Friday afternoon at a reception marking her retirement after a quarter-century of feeding Perry’s young minds.
“Suzanne was always wonderful with the kinds,” said Donna Emmert of Perry, who was the director of the Perry Public Library when Kestel was hired in 1997.
Kestel received many heartfelt hugs and well wishes from the steady stream of visitors at the reception, and activities were available for the youngsters as always.
