After months of take-out and delivery service only, the popular Mandarin Cafe at 1117 Second St. will reopen Monday for lunch at 11 a.m.
Diners will find new tile flooring in the dining room and a patriotic mural on the southern exterior wall and the same generous menu of Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese favorites, including kung bao chicken, pad tai shrimp and seafood pho.
The Mandarin Cafe hours are Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The phone number is 515-465-2080.
