Marshall Menz, 62, of Perry passed away Friday, Nov. 4, 2016, at his home in Perry.
According to his wishes there will be a private family service will be held in his memory. The family invites all family and friends to join them for a celebration of life luncheon on Saturday, Nov. 12 from noon to 3 p.m. at Sportsman Park near Dawson.

Marshall Grant Menz was born Oct. 8, 1954, in Perry, Iowa, to Marvin William and Rose Ilene (Dorman) Menz.
He attended school in Perry.
He was united in marriage to Janel Kay Divis at First Christian Church in Perry March 26, 1977.
Marshall was a member of the New Day Assembly of God in Perry. He loved his granddaughter, and she was his pride and joy. He enjoyed doing landscaping on his property and keeping it beautiful.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin.
He is survived by his wife, Janel Menz of Perry; son, Chad Menz of Perry; mother, Rose Menz of Perry; granddaughter, Alannah Rose Menz; brother, Doug (Barb) Menz of Perry; two sisters, Chris (Chuck) Geer of Rochester, Minn., and Connie (Steve) Stalzer of Perry.
