Tom Maxwell, the new owner of the Hotel Pattee, brought along a few of his crew — General Manager Aaron Lenz and Event Coordinator Mica Redenius Hickey — for a community event Tuesday night at La Poste LLC, where Perry’s Latino and Latina luminaries welcomed the hoteliers to town.
Tickets for free drinks and for entry into a free prize drawing were presented at the door, and hot dishes were served, sponsored by four Perry restaurants, El Tren, Casa de Oro, Oasis Grocery Store and El Rey Market.
The lightsome ladies of La Poste LLC were at their glittering gayest as the throng converged for the well publicized event.
More fun is planned for Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m., when the La Poste LLC ladies host an event sponsored by Perry Economic Development Inc., the Hotel PatteeĀ and the Perry Chamber of Commerce.
The event will present a forum for updating Chamber members on the latest progress of each of the sponsoring organizations and an opportunity for fellowship for all of the individuals and businesses helping to move Perry forward.
Perry Economic Development Inc. will also formally recognize Jay and Denise Hartz for their successful stewardship of the Hotel Pattee since November 2013.
