The Minburn Public Library has announced the following events for September.
The library will be closed Monday, Sept. 2 for Labor Day.
Movie Monday September 8 4 p.m.
The library will be showing Frozen 2.
Open Art Tuesdays from 3-7 p.m.
Patrons are welcome to come for a period of free creation. Paper and various craft supplies will be provided.
Wednesday Tech Hour — Every Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m.
The library will be hosting an event where patrons can ask tech-related questions.
Adult Craft Club — Sept. 29 from 6-8 p.m.
September’s craft will be painting a fall scene on canvas. Please contact the library a week in advance to register.
Friday Fun 2-4 p.m.
- Sept. 5: Legos
- Sept. 12: Perler Beads Crafts
- Sept. 19: Nerf
- Sept. 26: Board Games
The library is also looking to add a new member to its library board. This volunteer position helps oversee library budget, polices and more. The only requirements are that the individual lives in Dallas County and is able to attend monthly board meetings. Please contact the library if interested.
