The Minburn Public Library has announced the following events for October 2025:

• Trunk or Treat October 31st, 5:30pm-7pm. If you plan to do a trunk, please arrive at 5pm for setup!
• Teen Halloween Party Tuesday, October 21st, 6pm-8pm. The library will host a teen Halloween party in its community room. There will be snacks, a costume contest, and a shiny object exchange.
• Open Art Time From 3pm-7pm every Tuesday, the library will have art supplies set out for anyone to come draw or color. Open to all ages!
• Movie Monday, October 13th 4pm The library will be showing Hocus Pocus
• Adult Craft Club, October 27th 6pm-8pm October’s craft will be decorating pumpkins! Contact the library ahead of time to register.
• Wednesday Tech Hour Every Wednesday from 12pm-1pm, the library will be hosting an event where patrons can ask tech-related questions.

o October 31st Costume Nerf – wear your costume for an extra Nerf battle!
The Library Board is currently looking for a new member. This volunteer position helps oversee library budget, policies and more. Applicants must live in Dallas County and attend monthly board meetings. Please contact the library to apply if interested.
Food pantry deliveries for October are TBD—keep an eye on our Facebook page to be notified when fresh items arrive. All are welcome to use the pantry, no questions asked.
