Perry residents are reminded that all Perry city offices and the Perry Water Works office will be closed Monday, Jan. 1.
The McCreary Community Building will be closed Sunday, Dec. 31 and Monday, Jan. 1. Note: Members age 18 and up can still use the 24-hour fitness room.
Residential garbage routes scheduled for Monday, Jan. 1 will be picked up Tuesday, Jan. 2. Tuesday routes will be picked up Wednesday, Jan. 3.
Christmas tree pickup schedule:
The city of Perry will pick up Christmas trees and evergreen garlands or wreaths from residential areas on Wednesday, Jan. 10 and Wednesday, Jan. 17.
Trees should have all decorations removed. Please do not place trees or greenery in disposal bags. Trees and greenery should be placed by the curb by 7 a.m. to assure pickup.
