The Nu Alpha Gamma of Dallas County Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, a group of active and retired professional women educators, grants two $500 scholarships annually.
Nu Alpha Gamma of Dallas County is currently accepting applications for its scholarships, which will be awarded in early August.
In order to qualify for a scholarship, an applicant should be a college junior or senior, male or female, and be majoring in education. Applicants must have graduated from a high school in Dallas County.
The deadline for applications is July 31.
Nu Alpha Gamma of Dallas County is composed of dedicated educators who annually conduct a grant-in-aid silent auction among its members prior to the holidays in order to be able to offer these scholarships.
The mission of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International promotes the professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education.
