May 24, 2019

  • A Boone County Deputy handled a child-custody issue at Howe Elementary School.

May 25, 2019

  • No activity reported.

May 26, 2019

  • A Boone County Deputy received a report of theft from Lance DeGeneffe, who said he had a homemade bank made of PVC pipe, painted orange and black and with Harley Davidson painted on side. There was approximately $800 in the bank.
  • Deputies responded to a report of an intoxicated female at a retail store in Ogden. The deputies found a ride for the individual.

May 27, 2019

  • An Ogden officer and Boone County Deputy assisted the Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
  • An officer assisted the Ogden Middle School custodian with flags laying on ground due to rope breaking.
  • An officer assisted an Ogden resident who was locked out of a residence.
  • An officer was asked to look for a red Chevy truck driving east on 220th Street from Grand Junction at a high rate of speed and making bad passes. The officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
  • An officer met with a motorist at the Ogden Police Department. The motorist reported someone in a vehicle threw a glass bottle at the motorist’s vehicle near L Avenue and 220th Street. The bottle did not strike the motorist’s vehicle. This information was passed on to Greene County Sheriff’s office as the offending vehicle was westbound on 220th Street.

May 28, 2019

  • Patti Swanson reported that Swanson Drug Store was broken into overnight.
  • An officer spoke with an Ogden resident regarding a lawn needing mowed.
  • An officer received a report of two large dogs dragging ropes and running at large on W.  Division Street. The officer was unable to locate the dogs.
  • An officer responded to a two-vehicle, personal-injury accident at N.W. Seventh and Elm streets. Tyler Wisecup, 27, of Ogden was westbound on Elm Street in a 2002 Chevrolet when a 2006 Chrysler driven by Lola Sorensen, 74, of Ogden, who was northbound on N.W. Seventh Street, failed to yield at intersection and struck the driver side of Wisecup’s vehicle. There was approximately $5,000 damage to Sorensen’s vehicle and $5,000 damage to Wisecup’s vehicle. Sorensen was issued a citation for failure to obey yield sign.
  • An officer assisted Boone County Deputies with an incident involving shots fired at 250 L Road.

May 29, 2019

  • An officer received a report that a green Ford Ranger pickup just struck a fence behind 305 S. First St. in the alley. The officer made contact with driver of the truck, and he had notified the owner of the fence and given his insurance information.
  • Boone County Deputies received a complaint of a vehicle parked on the south side of Ogden High School and playing loud music. The vehicle was gone upon the deputies’ arrival.

May 30, 2019

  • An officer assisted Boone County Deputies, Ogden First Responders, Ogden Fire and Boone County Ambulance with a single-vehicle, personal-injury accident in the 900 block of 216th Drive.
  • An officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
  • A Boone County Deputy assisted a motorist locked out of a vehicle.
  • A Boone County Deputy took a report of a 15-year-old boy running away from home. The boy was entered in the state system.

May 31, 2019

  • An officer assisted someone locked out of vehicle.
  • A Boone County Deputy was asked to check on welfare of an Ogden resident. Neighbors were at residence when the deputy arrived. The deputy requested Ogden First Responders to come and examine the person.

June 1, 2019

  • An employee at a local retail store reported that a gas drive off.
  • A boone County Deputy assisted the Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance.
  • Mikayla Wenger of 614 W. Division St. reported that she found a window open when she came home from work. Her residence had been gone through. and some items were missing.

June 2, 2019

  • A Boone County Deputy received a complaint of a barking dog in the northwest part of Ogden. The deputy was unable to locate the dog.
  • A Boone County Deputy responded to an incomplete 911 call from a cellular phone. The phone mapped to 625 E. Oak St. This was a resident of ACURRA Health.
  • A Boone County Deputy responded to an intrusion alarm at the Ogden Middle School. This was determined to be a false alarm.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
