- An officer received a report of a male trying to break into an apartment at 337 S.W. Seventh St. The officer located John Canier, 52, of Boone sitting in a vehicle outside of the apartment. The officer found a glass smoking device on Canier and arrested him for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia. Canier was transported to the Boone County Jail. The resident of apartment was not home at the time but refused to file charges of attempting to break into the apartment.
- An officer received a report of a black Rottweiler-type dog running loose in the 500 block of S. First Street. The officer was unable to locate the dog.
- An officer was asked to remove a deer from the travel portion of the roadway on J Avenue at 220th Street.

- An employee of Vision Bank reported the bank received a counterfeit $5 bill in a deposit. The officer notified area businesses and sent the bill to the U.S. Secret Service Office in Des Moines.

- An officer assisted someone locked out of a residence.
- An officer received a report of a child yelling for help in the 500 block of N.W. Fourth Street. The child was determined to be a male juvenile who had been fighting with his brother in the 400 block of W. Cherry Street.

- An officer assisted an Ogden resident with a malfunctioning smoke alarm. The officer replaced the battery.
- An officer assisted someone who was looking for available apartments in Ogden. The officer gave the subject several phone numbers of apartment owners.

- An officer received a complaint from an Ogden resident about trash on a neighbor’s property. The officer advised resident to stop at the Ogden City Hall on Monday and fill out a complaint form in the city clerk’s office. The officer took pictures of the property in question.

- An officer was called to 337 S.W. Seventh St. regarding a suspicious vehicle. The officer found John Canier, 52, of Boone outside of an apartment and in possession of a controlled substance believed to be methamphetamine. The officer arrested Canier for alleged possession of methamphetamine and transported him to the Boone County Jail.
