Ogden Police Department Public Service Announcement: The new 35 mph speed zone is in effect from Division Street to south of overpass. There is a Your Speed radar at south side of bridge coming north into town.

  • An officer assisted a stranded motorist.
  • An officer assisted a subject with a civil matter.

October 25, 2016

  • An officer responded to 319 N.E. Fourth for an incomplete 911 call.
  • An officer responded to 607 N.W. Seventh, #1, for a medical call.

October 26, 2016

  • An officer assisted a Boone County Deputy Sheriff with a motor vehicle accident at L Avenue and U.S. Highway 30.

October 27, 2016

  • An officer assisted subjects locked out of a building.
  • An officer did a welfare check at 208 N.E. Third St.
  • An officer assisted a subject locked out of his car at 1095 B Ave.

October 28, 2016

  • An officer assisted a stranded motorist at 190th Street and U.S. Highway 169.
  • An officer investigated a possible intoxicated driver on U.S. Highway 30.

October 29, 2016

  • An officer handled a loose-dog call.
  • An officer assisted a lost motorist in the 100 block of S. First Street.
  • An officer investigated a complaint of a reckless driver on U.S. Highway 30. The officer located the vehicle and the driver was cited for an expired license.

October 30, 2016

  • An officer investigated a complaint of a loose dog in the 700 block of 216th Street. The officer never located the dog.
  • An officer responded to a car fire at 261 S.E. Second St. The officer put the fire out.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
