September 2, 2016

  • Clinton Mantz reported his neighbor was weed eating and hit his shed, causing damage. The officer advised this is a civil matter as the shed appears to be on Heck property.
  • An officer was asked to look for a suicidal male at an Ogden residence. The subject was not there.

September 3, 2016

  • An officer responded to an intrusion alarm at Howe Elementary School. This was determined to be a false alarm.
  • An officer assisted Boone County Deputy with a traffic stop.
  • An officer received a report of a motorcycle in the ditch on 220th Street on the ramp from H Avenue. The officer was unable to locate a motorcycle or any evidence of an accident in that area.

September 4, 2016

  • An officer arrested Joshua Uranga, 36, of Boone for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of dangerous weapons. Uranga was complaining of chest pains, so he was taken to Boone County Hospital for evaluation prior to being taken to the Boone County Jail.

September 5, 2016

  • An officer responded to an intrusion alarm at the Lucky Pig Bar and Grille. It was a false alarm set off by employees.
  • An officer removed debris from the roadway in the 300 block of S. First Street.
  • An officer checked on a large fire in the 300 block of E. Division Street.

September 6, 2016

  • An officer assisted an Ogden business with a possible theft of equipment.
  • An officer assisted a subject with a property issue.
  • An officer assisted a lost motorist.
  • An officer assisted an Ogden business in locating a person.
  • An officer assisted a subject with a stolen vehicle.
  • An officer received a report of a lost dog.
  • An officer assisted a stranded motorist at the Ogden High School.

September 7, 2016

  • An officer assisted Union Pacific Rail Road workers with a loose dog on the railroad tracks east of Ogden. The animal was returned to its owner.
  • An officer assisted a subject with a suspicious phone call.
  • An officer responded to the Ogden High School reference an intrusion alarm.
  • An officer responded to the 200 block of S.E. Second Street in reference to a large tree branch blocking the roadway.

September 8, 2016

  • An officer responded to a single-vehicle accident in Ogden High School parking lot. There was less than $1,500 damage, so no state report was filed.
  • An officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance with a medical call in Beaver.

September 9, 2016

  • An officer spoke to a subject reference a property issue.
  • An officer assisted a subject locked out of her residence.
  • An officer observed a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of N.W. Fifth Street. The driver was playing Pokémon.

September 10, 2016

  • An officer observed a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of W. Elm Street. The driver and passenger were playing Pokémon.
  • An officer received a report of a transient in the area of the South Side Car Wash. The officer asked Curt Erickson, owner of the car wash, if he would be willing to give the male subject a ride to Boone. Erickson agreed to give the subject a ride to Boone.
  • An officer received a report of a vehicle driving near the concession stand at Ogden High School football field. This was the custodian turning off water sprinklers.

September 11, 2016

  • An officer assisted Ogden First Responders and Boone County Ambulance at 349 S. First St.
  • An officer responded to an intrusion alarm at Ogden High School. This was set off accidentally by staff.
  • An officer received a complaint of a cat running at large at 619 Haws Dr.
