
EARLHAM — Class 2A No. 9 Panorama rolled to a 74-40 win over Earlham in West Central Conference girls action Tuesday.
Panorama (13-1, 9-1) burst to a 19-11 lead after one quarter before asserting control with a 23-10 second quarter for a 42-21 lead at the half. The Panthers shot 30-of-54 from the floor en route to the win. One of just five 2A teams to shoot over 70 percent at the foul line, Panorama sank 9-of-11 at the stripe in the victory.
Bailey Beckman poured in 23 points for the guests, with Devyn Kemble adding 12 points and Hope Wilderman 10. Faith Powell had eight points and Morgan Johnk seven, with Nicole Rolfes and Brooke Halterman each adding four points. Two points apiece from Kellie Prince, Lydia Knapp and Valliere Storesund capped Panorama’s scoring list.
Kemble finished with nine rebounds and six assists, with Powell making four steals and dishing out three assists while Johnk pulled down five rebounds.
Panorama visits AC/GC Friday before traveling to No. 6 Van Meter for a game rescheduled from Dec. 16. The Panthers host Madrid Tuesday and then entertain Van Meter Jan. 27.
