
LOGAN — Two matches into their existence has the Panorama girls soccer team 2-0 overall and with a whopping 20 goals to their credit while the defense has yielded no goals and only four shots.
The latest victim was host Logan-Magnolia, who fell into a 4-0 halftime hole and could not recover in suffering an 8-0 loss.
The Cmelik sister act proved deadly again for Panorama, with both recording hat tricks by scoring three times apiece. Audrey Cmelik now has seven goals on the season and Paige Cmelik six.
Jaelyn Waddle added a goal for the second time this season, with Maisie Knapp blasting a shot past the keeper on a direct free kick.
Ella Waddle was credited with two assists in the victory, with Nicole Rolfes also providing a pair of assists while Paige Cmelik assisted on a goal.
Panorama will host Greene County at 5 p.m. Thursday, with the Panther boys to face the Rams at 7 p.m. The Panther girls will compete Saturday in the Nevada Tournament, where they will face Southeast Polk at 10:30 a.m. and Ballard at 1:30 p.m.
