PANORA — Many pieces from an 8-2 2020 team have since moved on, but Panorama head coach Mike Kauzlarich will not be without weapons when the Panthers open play tonight against visiting Colfax-Mingo.

The team will have three non-district games in which to see who can fill those key starting roles, with a Sept. 3 visit to Pella Christian and a home game Sept. 10 against Central Decatur the non-league contests.

Class 1A District 7 play begins Sept. 17 with a visit to powerhouse Van Meter, with a trip to Interstate-35 following on Sept. 24.

Panorama hosts West Central Valley Oct. 1 for Homecoming, with a game at AC/GC Oct. 8 and against visiting Nodaway Valley Oct. 15 capping the regular season.

Class 1A teams who do not reach the playoffs may schedule a week nine (Oct. 22) game against a fellow non-qualifier, thus creating a nine-game campaign.
