CORNING — Eight of the 12 Panorama wrestlers competing Friday and Saturday at the John J. Harris Invitational finished on the podium, with Dalton Holmes winning the 195-pound class and Gunnar Grunsted placing second at 170.

Those efforts and the overall depth of talent helped Panorama compile 151 points and finish in fourth place in the 23-team field, which was hosted by Southwest Valley. Class 1A No. 4 Missouri Valley amassed 230.5 points to win the invite, with Creston/Orient-Macksburg (165) and Atlantic (163.5) a distant second and third.

Holmes cruised to the 195-pound title with two pins and a pair of decisions. The four victories lifts Holmes to 27-4 overall this season.
