OGDEN — The Panorama cross country teams had two varsity boys, three varsity girls and six junior varsity girls compete at the Ogden Invitational Tuesday.
Senior Avery Norman finished in 23 minutes, 27 seconds and freshman Laine Christe in 27:16 for the Panther boys.
Ogden and Ballard, with 45 and 60 points, respectively, won the boys team race. Madrid’s Ethan Loutzenheiser (17:26) and Clay Warson (18:05) were the first two individual placers.
Ballard (18) and Ogden (79) were 1-2 in the girls varsity race, with Paityn Noe (19:30) and Ava Vance (21:09) the first two finishers.
Senior Leah Fett (25:55), sophomore Avery Bahrenfuss (28:37), and junior Alice Schann (29:37) ran for the Panther girls.
Madrid (33), Woodward-Granger (49), Panorama (50), and Boone (92) posted team scores in the two-mile middle school competition.
W-G’s Eva Fleshner was first, in 12:55, with Panorama’s Mary Fett placing fourth in 13:53.
Maggie McCarthy (15:25), Jamie Fronapfel (15:28), Ella Carico (15:36), and Kylie Rochholtz (15:41) were 10-11-12-13 for the Panthers, with Laicey Richey 14th in 15:52. Fett, McCarthy and Carico are eighth graders, with Fronapfel, Rochholz, and Richey all in seventh grade.
