GUTHRIE CENTER, IA — Panorama had two varsity boys, two varsity girls and four middle school girls take part in the Ogden Invitational Tuesday.
Zach Hayden was 72nd overall in 23 minutes, 16,02 seconds for the Panther boys, with Gryffin Burchfield crossing 77th in 23:30.86.
A clocking of 21:41.8 allowed Mary Fett to finish seventh overall in the girls race, with teammate Avery Bahrenfuss timing in at 26:37.76, 43rd overall.
Middle school races are two miles in length and team scores require four finishers per squad, not five as in varsity competition.
Madrid edged Boone, 22-24, for team honors, with Panorama third at 33.
Kylie Rocholz (13:05.11)Na Jamie Fronapfel (14:07.39) were fourth, and eighth, respectively, for Panorama, with Nella Rivas (15:02.02) and Ruth Fett (15:06.96) 10-11.
Panorama returns to action Monday at the Adair County Fairgrounds in Greenfield for the annual Nodaway Valley invite.
