Panthers stumble in first net action

PANORA, IA — Visiting West Central Valley ruined the season opener for Panorama volleyball Tuesday with a 3-0 victory in WCC action.

The Wildcats won with scores of 25-15, 25-23 and of 25-16.

Jaidyn Sellers led the Panthers with six kills, with Cayden Iredale adding four, Keira Simmons three and Faith Recker and Zoey Hambleton one each. Recker provided 10 assists and Madison Mincy two.

Jazmyn Sellers had 17 digs, Zoey Hambleton and Recker seven apiece and Caitlyn Sloss five. Jaidyn Sellers made four digs, Mincy three, Simmons two and Elizabeth Snyder and Iredale one each.

Jaidyn Sellers was credited with nine blocks, with Simmons recording four, Iredale two and Hallie Arganbright one.

Panorama served only 43-of-54 (80 percent) with one ace.

Hambleton was 14-of-17 with an ace, with Jaidyn Sellers 9-of-10, Recker 6-of-6 and Simmons 5-of-7. Jazmyn Sellers was 4-of-5 behind the line, with Arganbright 4-of-4 and Mincy 1-of-5.

Panorama returns to action Tuesday when they host South Central Calhoun and Greene County for a triangular.
