FORT DODGE — The recent spate of wet weather have forced numerous changes to spectator parking for those wishing to attend the State Cross Country Meet at Kennedy Park in Fort Dodge Oct. 27.

There will be no public parking in the park, near the golf course, nor along the highway. Instead, shuttles will be operating from four different lots around Fort Dodge. Shuttles will begin running at 8 a.m. and will continue until 4:30 p.m. A $10 fee for both parking and transportation will be collected upon entry into any of the assigned shuttle lots.

RED LOT: Harlan Rogers Sports Complex, 1614 Nelson Ave. Recommended if arriving from north on Nelson Ave. or from west on D-14.

BLUE LOT: Rosedale Rapids, 1111 North 32nd St. Recommended if arriving from south on 32nd St. or from east on 190th St.

GREEN LOT: Fort Dodge Middle School, 800 North 32nd St. Recommended if arriving from south on 32nd St. or from west on 10th Ave. North.

BLACK LOT: Fort Dodge Senior High, 801 North 25th St. Recommended if arriving from west via Highway 20.

The IAHSAA and IGHSAU suggest fans arrive 60-90 minutes before wishing to enter the state meet course.
