Autumn has closed in on another successful season of the Perry Farmers Market, sponsored by the Perry Chamber of Commerce, which has turned the weekly marketplace into Perry’s go-to place for fresh produce and baked goods and a wide array of shop-small retailers.
Now the Chamber wants your feedback in a brief online survey.
This year’s Farmers Market outgrew the grounds of the newly paved Josh Davis Memorial Plaza and regularly filled a half-block of Second Street south of Warford Street. Also new this year were the Third Thursday special events, such as the public safety night, back-to-school night and health and wellness night.
“We were really excited at our growth this year,” said Perry Chamber Executive Director Lynsi Pasutti. “There were more activities and a greater variety of vendors, and we hope to see this growth continue next spring.”
Pasutti asked all friends, fans and shoppers of the Farmers Market to take a brief survey about this year’s production. Your feedback can help the Chamber direct the Farmers Market’s growth and development, she said.
