The Perry City Council has again rescheduled its second January meeting, this time postponing the session until 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22 due to the inclement weather forecast for the Perry area.
The council moved its regular Monday meeting to Tuesday, Jan. 22 in order to observe the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday Monday, Jan. 21, and today’s action by the city administration moves the meeting one day later.
Observance of the annual holiday honoring the assassinated American civil rights leader was suggested to the council last year by second-ward Perry City Council member Dr. Randy McCaulley.
