The Perry Community School Foundation will sponsor its third annual Christmas silent and live auctions Friday, Dec. 16 at the high school.
Silent auction items will be availablr for inspection on tables in front of the Perry High School trophy cases in the commons area. Money raised from both the silent and live auctions will benefit the Perry Community School Foundation.
This silent auction offers a chance to pick up unique holiday gifts for family and friends while also helping the Perry school system. This year’s auction items include:
- Ticket vouchers from the Des Moines Menace, the Iowa Energy, the Iowa Wild and the Iowa Barnstormers.
- Handmade PHS, ISU, U of Iowa and UNI lap quilts created by Linda Andorf.
- Progressive Foundry Iowa Hawkeye skillet
- Progressive Foundry Iowa State Cyclone skillet
- Birthday cake by Ali Cakes
- Holiday arrangement by Perry Floral
- Gift basket from the Hotel Pattee
The silent auction will become vocal during halftime of the PHS boys basketball game when the auctioneer puts on the block a luxury evening in the Cellar at La Poste, a package deal valued at $3,000 and serving up to 60 people.
La Postal Package includes use of the Cellar, appetizers from Hy-Vee, desserts from Ali Cakes, entrees from River Valley Catering, beverages from La Poste and music courtesy of Shannon and Cindy Bryan.
Bidding on the deluxe evening in the Cellar of La Poste will start at $1,200.
