Academic honors have been received by numerous Bluejay and Jayette cross country runners, as well as the Perry girls as a team.

The Jayettes have received an IGHSAU Academic Award for posting a team GPA averaging between 3.25-4.0.

The same GPA requirement, along with a grade requirement of 10-12 and status as a letter winner are necessary to earn Raccoon River Conference All-Academic recognition, an honor earned by three Bluejays and seven Jayettes.

Eduardo Sanchez, Tomas Lopez and Hayden McFarland were the Jays reaching the academic level, with Taylor Eppert, Angela Hernandez, Molly Lutmer, Kailey Crawford, Cris Gomez, Kennedy Tunink and Bailey Piper the Jayettes honored.

Perry is coached by Ryan Marzen, with Scott Pierce, Jen Sprung and Andrew Hamer assisting.
