Melissa O’Neil, Vice President for Iowa/Illinois Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) spoke to the Perry High students involved in the program Thursday at the Perry Performing Arts Center.

O’Neil encouraged the freshmen and sophomore students to discover what their goals were for the future and to leave no possibility untested. She then urged the juniors and seniors present to honor the JAG program by staying active and by not allowing time to pass them by before they began pursuing future goals.

The frosh/soph and junior/senior students elected officers for the next school year, who were sworn in by iJAG instructors Krista Fisher and Tina Kenney. The students then retired to the Brady Library, where they enjoyed a private lunch prepared by their teachers.
