Perry man allegedly harasses three boys with fireworks

A Perry man was arrested Sunday after allegedly harassing three Perry youths Saturday.

Tyler James Zuber, 26, of 605 Second St., Perry, was charged with three counts of third-degree harassment.

The incident began about 8:30 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of Fifth Street, where an officer of the Perry Police Department responded to a report of someone “shooting” at “three boys,” according to court records.

The officer made contact with Zuber, who “admitted throwing out small fireworks toward” the three subjects, according to court records.

Zuber is held in the Dallas County Jail in advance of an initial appearance in Dallas County District Court.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
