Jesus Quijas, 53, of Perry was arrested Monday on a charge of first-degree harassment.

A Perry man was arrested Monday on a Dallas County warrant in connection with a February incident in which he allegedly posted nude photos of a Perry woman to a social media site without her consent.

Jesus Quijas, 53, of 608 Willis Ave., Perry, was charged with first-degree harassment.

The incident began Monday, when the victim notified officers of the Perry Police Department that Quijas was “posting nude and partially nude photos of her on” a social media site in February.

The officers made contact with Quijas, who admitted to posting the photos in order “to improve his ‘score'” on the social media site, according to court records.

A search warrant was obtained, and a search of Quijas cellular telephone disclosed the photos in question, according to court records.

A warrant for Quijas’ arrest was ordered Monday in Dallas County District Court and served Monday. Quijas was held in the Dallas County Jail on a $2,000 cash or surety bond in advance of an initial appearance in Dallas County District Court.
