A Perry man faces assault charges after allegedly slapping and pushing his mother Sunday night.

The incident began about 7:15 p.m. Sunday, when officers of the Perry Police Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 2600 block of Otley Avenue.

The officers spoke with the victim, who said her son allegedly “slapped her and pushed her out of her home,” according to court records.

The officers observed the victim “had marks on her chest and the back of her right arm.”

Sanchez “admitted to pushing his mother out of the house because he wanted her out,” according to court records.

Sanchez was convicted of first-offense domestic abuse assault with intent to inflict serious injury in 2012 in Dallas County District Court. He was convicted of assault causing bodily injury or mental illness in 2015 in Dallas County District Court.
