Perry, Panorama boys play nine holes at ADM

ADEL — A boys golf triangular at River Bend Thursday featured host ADM welcoming both Perry and Panorama for nine holes.

Panorama lifted their overall mark to 32-3 by firing a team-low of 161. ADM finished at 173 with the inexperienced Perry team carding a combined 295.

Isaac Noble’s 58 was the low round for Perry. Eli Noble had a 74 and Sebastian Hernandez a 78 with Brady Herman adding an 85.

Panorama’s Lucas Leiferman bogeyed his first hole, but then rattled off eight consecutive pars to earn medalist honors with a one-over par 37. Teammate Kolby Shackelford was a stroke back as the runner-up medalist with a 38.

Dylan Douglass and Wyatt Appleseth also scored for the Panthers, with each turning in cards of 43. Ryan Klinge (44) and Trey Cobb (49) also played for the varsity but did not have their scores used for the team total.

Joe Finnegan led ADM with a 40, with Adam O’Connor shooting a 41, Jaxson Millsap a 42 and Carter Greenslade a 50. Seth Williamson (51) and Lucas Curry (54) also played for the Tiger varsity.

Panorama and ADM both had full junior varsity teams in action, with the former shooting a 198 and the latter a 235.

Evan Taylor (47), Connor Powell (48), Malachi Peasley (49) and Tate Willey (54) scored for the Panther JV, with Ethan Hafner (56) and Nathan Wolfe (60) also in action.

Aaron Teckenberg (56), Riley Buekema (56), Zach Selover (60) and Doc Gardiner (63) were the scoring four for the ADM JV, with Justin Nuemann (67) and Ian Schwarzkopf (68) also on the course.
