- A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said her workplace was “having problems with one of their overhead garage doors” that “won’t completely shut.” The woman asked whether extra patrol could be provided. Officers responded.
- A caller said several neighboring residences “have a large amount of trash piled by their garage.” The caller said “she has complained about this twice before, and nothing has been done.” An officer responded and notified the Perry City Hall.
- A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.
- A local business owner called and said “someone has been in the building, made a mess and wrote on the walls.” The caller asked whether extra patrol could be provided. Officers responded.

- A caller said she and her husband “have been fighting,” and she “believes he’s under the influence of drugs.” Officers responded.
- An officer of the Perry Police Department helped “a semi get turned around” that ” was stuck due to the road closure.” The officer “assisted the driver get to Iowa Highway 141.”
- Cristian Gustavo Agreda Chachagua of 2602 Marengo Dr. was issued a citation for first-offense dog at large.
- An officer of the Perry Police Department “was able to assist with tightening some tire lug nuts.”
- A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and asked “what to do about an accident she was involved in where the other person was at fault and has stopped communication with her in regards to taking care of the damage done to her car.” An officer responded and advised the woman about proceedings in small claims court.

- A caller reported a possible “domestic problem.” An officer responded but did not find any disputants.
- A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded, “spoke with the dog owners” and advised them “of laws pertaining to animals at large.”
- A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said he “lost his passport possibly at Tyson’s.”
- A caller reported “someone dumped a large amount of trash on his property.” An officer responded and inspected the material, and an investigation determined the trash belonged to a tenant of the caller.
- A caller said a child’s mother “send the child’s medications in a plastic bag.” An officer responded and advised the caller “to contact their attorney.”
- A caller said she “found a message on her voicemail stating she owed money and if she didn’t pay, they would disable her computer.” The caller said she “doesn’t have a computer.”
- A caller said people in neighboring apartments “use illegal drugs.” An officer responded and found “no unusual sounds or smells from anywhere inside the building.”

- A caller said “his front license plate was stolen sometime last night before the storm.” An officer responded.
- A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said someone “violated the no-contact order” when the person “just followed her from one gas station to another.” An officer responded.
- A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded and found the dog sitting on a porch. “A teenage male ended up opening the door and letting the dog in but refused to talk to the officer and would not answer the door after.”
- A caller reported “two children left” in a vehicle “without an adult.” An officer responded but did not find the vehicle.
- Matthew James Kilts, 37, 2014 Warford St., Perry, was arrested on Dallas County warrants for probation violation on an original charge of third-degree criminal mischief, failure to appear on a probation violation on an original charge of third-degree criminal mischief and failure to appear on an original charge of carrying weapons. Kilts was also held on a Chickasaw County warrant.
- A caller said a “vehicle has been running in the parking lot for a few hours” and “has been parked there off and on for five days.” An officer responded and made contact with the occupant of the vehicle, who said “he is homeless and was just sitting there because he has nowhere else to be.”
- A caller reported “a sick raccoon.” An officer responded and “put down the raccoon.”
- A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and asked to speak with an officer about “a threatening call he received from someone who stated he struck his vehicle while at the V.A. Hospital.” An officer responded.
- A caller said “he could smell marijuana smoke in the south stairway of the apartment building.” An officer responded and was “unable to locate any odor of marijuana.”

- A caller said a customer “keeps asking other customers to buy him things,” was “cussing and being rude” and “is also washing his feet and socks in the bathroom sink.” Officers responded.
- A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and asked to talk with an officer about “problems with her estranged husband.”
- A caller said “while in the process of clearing the Perry Airport he got his snow plow stuck in mud.” The Perry Public Works Department was notified.
