- Michael Lawrence Ruffin Jr., 51, of Des Moines was arrested on a charge of driving while suspended.
- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of Fifth Street.
- Officers responded to a report of theft in the 2800 block of Willis Avenue. The case is under investigation with charges pending.
July 30, 2025
- A 2025 Infinity, driven by Cynthia Miller of Perry, collided with a 2012 Ford Mustang, driven by Whitney Glade of Guthrie Center, in the 2900 block of Willis Avenue. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $3,500.
- A 17-year-old female from Perry was arrested on a charge of driving while suspended.
- Marcus Allen During, 39, of 1717 Third St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of driving while suspended.
July 31, 2025
- A semi-tractor trailer left the roadway in the 2700 block of First Avenue. No injuries were reported. No damage was reported.
- Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct in the 2200 block of Warford Street.
- Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 2000 block of Second Street.
- A 13-year-old female from Perry was issued a citation for curfew violation.
- A 14-year-old male from Perry was issued a citation for curfew violation.
- A 15-year-old male from Perry was issued a citation for curfew violation.
- A 15-year-old male from Perry was issued a citation for curfew violation.
