- Officers responded to a report of harassment in the 700 block of Fifth Street.
- Halena Rosetene Lorenzini, 33, 708 First Ave., Perry, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear on original charges of fifth-degree theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Officers responded to a report of threats made in the 2800 block of First Avenue. The case is under investigation.
August 23, 2024
- Mackenzie Marie Dawson, 18, of Grimes was arrested on charges of first-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Karen Kae Gustoff, 61, of Yale was arrested on a charge of OWI.
- Officers responded to a report of fraud in the 900 block of Railroad Street. The case is under investigation.
- Officers responded to a fraud in the 1200 block of 141st Street. The case is under investigation.

- Ivan Barrios Davila, 24, 2543 Riverwoods Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on charges of second-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana and driving under suspension.
- Officers responded to a report marijuana in the 2100 block of Third Street.

- Cited for First Offense Dog at Large: Waller, Daniel Weston Waller of 823 William St., Perry, was issued a citation for first-offense dog at large.
- Jennifer Leann Hodges, 37, 913 Willis Ave., Perry, was arrested on a Story County warrant second-degree theft.
- Fredy Guillermo Espinoza Flores, 22, of 3309 McKinley St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of first-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana.

- Semere Eseyas, 33, 2510 Perry Park Ave., Perry, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
