  • A caller said his cat was lost. The caller called again and said his cat was found.
  • Someone entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. with a dog the person caught running at large. “Dispatcher Monica agreed to foster the dog until contact was made with the owners.”
  • A caller said “there was a big, white box” in her yard. An officer responded and found “it was a large styrofoam in her yard” that “was too large to put in the vehicle.” The Perry Public Works Department was notified.
  • A caller from Greene County said “there was an unknown vehicle with no one in it on his property.” The caller was transferred to the Greene County Sheriff’s office.
  • A caller said “she needed help with her daughter.” The caller said “she does not know what to do and does not know if she is drunk or on drugs,” but the daughter “is currently outside walking around with just socks on,” and the caller “cannot get her to come inside.” Officers responded.
  • Diane Theresa Stiles, 38, 711 Fifth St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of domestic abuse assault-bodily injury.
  • A manĀ entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and asked to speak with an officer about “his grandson kicking his truck.” An officer responded.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
