  • Milvia Lucrecia Castenada of Perry was issued a citation for striking an unattended vehicle and not reporting the incident.
  • A caller “reported snowmobiles going around town.” Officers responded but did not find the snowmobiles.
  • A caller “reported tenants” in an apartment “fighting.” Officers responded and found a “verbal argument between the two” occurred but “all calm for now.”
  • A caller reported a cat running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.
  • A caller said a dog “was just hit by a vehicle” and was “in the south ditch at this time.” An officer responded and made contact with “the owners, who arrived and retrieved the dog.”
  • A caller said “the front door has been open all day” in a vacant house. An officer responded and “walked through the residence, and all was okay.” The officer “secured the door.”
  • A caller said a dog was barking. An officer responded but “was unable to locate any dogs barking.”
  • A caller “said that she almost hit” a man “on a motorized scooter” because “he doesn’t have any lights or anything on the scooter.” An officer responded, made contact with the scooter man and “advised him he needed to get a light on his scooter.” The scooter man “said he has one and turned it on.”

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
