December 27, 2019
- Officers took a theft report from the 1400 block of 141st Street. A dog was liberated from the Perry Animal Holding Facility.
- Juan Carlos Armenta-Hernandez, 35, of 2710 Eastern Ave., Perry, was arrested on charges of trespassing and fifth-degree theft.
- The Perry Police Department received a report of a fight in progress in the 900 block of Central Street.
- Scotty Lee Hays, 29, of 1408 W. Second St., Perry, was arrested on charges of assault, assault on a peace officer, third-degree attempted burglary and violation of a no-contact/protective order.
December 28,2019
- A caller reported a power pole was struck down at Willis Avenue and Second Street. Alliant Energy was contacted.
- The Perry Police Department received a report of sexual abuse in the 1700 block of First Avenue. The case is under investigation.
- The Perry Police Department received a report of a verbal domestic dispute in the 1000 block of 14th Street. The situation calmed.
December 29, 2019
- The Perry Police Department received a report of criminal mischief in the 500 block of 12th Street. A van was egged. The caller did not see any damage.
