- A Toyota Camry, registered to and driven by Kim Mikhael Asingho of 310 E. Vest St., Jefferson, was traveling eastbound on Iowa Highway 141 when it lost traction and entered the ditch at I Court. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,000.
Feb. 17, 2024
- A 2010 GMC Sierra pickup, registered to and driven by Wilbert Domond of 117 S. Plum St., Boone, was traveling eastbound in the 1300 block of Estella Street when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at 9,000. Domond was issued a citation for failure to provide proof of financial liability-accident related and violation of instruction permit limitation.

- A 2012 Nissan van, registered to Jose Angel Chavez of 1820 S.E. Clover Ridge Dr., Ankeny, and driven by Jose M. Gudino Caballero of 3069 N.W. 19th Court, Ankeny, collided with a 2001 Ford Focus, registered to and driven by Lexi Elaine Ray Hall of 1414 Seventh St., Perry, in the 1400 block of Seventh Street. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,100.
- Severine Eneh Atoh Awa, 39, of 1598 Linden St., Granger, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for first-offense OWI.
- Rosa Isela Mondragon Lozano, 39, of 608 Second St., Rippey, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.

- Adam Jose Rodriguez, 39, of 1602 Maple St., Dallas Center, was arrested on a chare of third-degree harassment.
