Feb. 7, 2022
- Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 1400 block of Willis Avenue.
- A 2009 Nissan Sentra, registered to Rachel Reed Steva of 2222 Estella St., Perry, and driven by Calli Jo Steva of 2222 Estella St., Perry, collided with a 2004 Buick Century, registered to and driven by Ernest Dean Faber of 22473 187th Road, Minburn, at Otley Avenue and 12th Street. One person was transported to the Dallas County Hospital by Dallas County EMS. Damages were estimated at $10,100.
- Officers received a report of a theft from the 2100 block of Otley Avenue.
February 8, 2022
- A 2014 delivery truck, registered to E and R Delivery of 310 88th St., West Des Moines, and driven by Christopher Ziatv of 4100 Hubbell Ave., Des Moines, was backing into a delivery spot at the U.S. Post Office at 1420 Second St., Perry, and struck the building. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $850.
- A 17-year-old male was arrested in the 1800 block of W. Fifth Street on a charge of simple assault.
