- A 16-year-old male from Perry was issued a citation for curfew violation.
- A caller from a local bank said “someone possibly completed a fraudulent transaction at the drive through.” The caller said “he may send information to” the department “to makes a report.”
- A 15-year-old male from Perry was arrested on charges of fifth-degree theft and minor in possession of alcohol.
- A caller said her nephew’s phone was stolen. An officer responded.
- A caller from the Dallas County Sheriff’s office “requested a barricade shield to assist Boone and Guthrie County, who are on a stand-off with an Ames murder suspect.” An officer responded and “exchanged the barricade shield” with a deputy sheriff “at the Perry airport.” The deputy later “returned the barricade shield,” and an officer “put it away.”
- A caller said he made an agreement with someone “to buy a mattress under his name, and she would make payments so his credit could go up.” The caller said the other person “stopped making payments, and the mattress is going to be repoed.” An officer responded.
- A 15-year-old male from Perry was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and interference with official acts.
- Two juvenile males from Perry were “served with no-trespass notices” for a local retail store.
- A caller said “his neighbor’s Rottweiler is barking again.” The dispatcher with the Perry Police Department “could hear the dog in the background.” The caller said he “was frustrated because every time he calls, it seems that nothing is done about it.” An officer responded.
