  • A caller reported a “text-message scam.” An officer responded.
  • A caller requested a welfare check on her father. The caller said her “last contact with him was about two years ago.” An officer responded, made contact with the father and delivered the message.
  • A caller said a man “agreed to take over his business for a year but only took it for about five to six months and will not pay for the rest of their agreement term.” An officer responded and told the caller “this is a civil issue,” and he “would have to handle the situation through small claims court.”
  • A caller requested a welfare check on someone “who has previously been suicidal.” Officers responded, made contact with the person and “stood by” until the person’s “social worker and Mobile Crisis arrived to assist.”
  • A caller said “there are people who always block her driveway due to her neighbor having a daycare next door.” The caller requested an officer “go out and address the issue with” the neighbor and “advise her not to have people block her driveway.” An officer responded and “found no vehicles blocking driveways.” The officer made contact with the daycare owner, who said “she would speak to her daycare parents.”
  • A caller said his dog was lost. The caller called again and said his dog was found.
  • A caller said “there is a bat in his son’s room.” Officers responded and “removed the bat from the residence.”

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
