- A caller said “a verbal argument was taking place.” Officer responded, “calmed the situation down and had them all separated.”
- A caller said “he is trying to get his belongings, and she is refusing to give them to him.” An officer responded.
- Someone entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. “to speak with an officer about almost getting scammed out of deposit money for a home.” An officer responded.
- The Perry Police Department School Resource Officer reported a student “had some friends come that were going to try and get her out of school.”
- A caller reported a suspicious vehicle. An officer responded.
- A “distressed” 8-year-old caller said “she felt unsafe.” Officers responded and made contact with two adults, who had “a verbal-only argument regarding child support.” The adults “agreed not to argue anymore and to discuss child-support matters a different day.”
- A caller said his dog was lost. The caller called again and said his dog was found.
- A caller said “someone is using her husband’s phone number to scam people.” An officer responded.
- A wireless 911 caller said “her property manager had sent someone to come fix the heat in her apartment while she was at work” and “when she came home, her bed frame was broken.” An officer responded.
- A caller “requested an officer dispose of a bat in her bedroom.” The caller said “her cat had caught it in her mouth, and she put it in the bedroom.” An officer “responded and removed the bat from the residence.”
- A caller said “someone was in her basement,” and “she thought it was her son” but “when she called out, she heard someone run upstairs and out the back door.” Officers responded and “were unable to locate footprints or anyone of suspicion in the area.”
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
