- A caller said she was involved in a two-vehicle collision. She said the driver of the other vehicle “gave her his insurance car” and “then left.” The caller said she “does not know if that is his real name or if his insurance is up to date.” An officer responded.
- A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. with her mother in order to report someone was “harassing and stalking” her mother. Officers responded.
- A caller said “someone had hit his vehicle while parked.” An officer responded.
- An officer of the Perry Police Department assisted an Iowa State Patrol trooper in seeking “a camo-colored four-wheeler that ran from him east of Perry.” The officers did not find the vehicle or its driver.
- A caller said “his daughter’s flute was stolen” from school. The caller said “he just wanted the flute back and no criminal charges filed.” An officer responded.
- A caller said her purse was stolen. An officer responded.
January 4, 2018
- A caller said “her daughter had overdosed on some sort of pills.” Officers responded and the Perry First Responders were paged.
- A caller said “he has no power and no heat” and “that he needs rescued.” The caller said “he has water in his basement because a water pipe broke.” Officers responded and notified the utility companies. The Perry First Responders were paged. The caller was transported to the Dallas County Hospital.
