January 4, 2017

  • A caller said “his ex” had “just passed through his residence and dumped bags of clothes on his front yard.” The caller said “there is a no-contact order between them.” Officers responded.
  • A caller said “a young child approximately 10 years old” and “wearing a black coat and pink headphones” was “sitting on the north side of” a commercial storage unit. The caller said she was “concerned about the child because of the cold.” An officer responded.
  • A caller from a local tavern said “there is someone in there that should just move on.” Officers responded.

January 5, 2017

  • A caller from the Dallas County Hospital said someone was “trying to leave the ER, but his family doesn’t want him back at the residence.” The caller said the man trying to leave was “still intoxicated.” Officers responded.
  • A caller said “there is a cattle truck that has half of its back end on First Street, possibly stuck.” Officers responded and found the “truck driver had attempted to pull into” a store’s “parking lot through an entrance and in doing so got caught up on the median, causing damage to the stop sign.”

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
