January 13, 2024
- Officers received a report of sexual assault in the 2800 block of First Avenue. The case is under investigation.
January 14, 2024
- Shera Dean Anderson, 30, of 913 Willis Ave., #307, Perry, was arrested on charges of gathering where a controlled substance is used, possession of a controlled substance-marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine and keeping a vehicle or premise for controlled substance use.
- Devin William Holm-Morales, 27, of 912 N. Maple St., Jefferson, was arrested on charges of keeping a vehicle or premise for controlled substance use, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and gathering where a controlled substance is used and on two Dallas County warrants for driving while suspended.
- Matthew David Corrigan, 31, of 1607 First Ave., Perry, was arrested on charges of interference with official acts and assault on law enforcement officer.
January 15, 2024
- A 2018 Ford Fusion, driven by Randall Stonehocker of Altoona, collided with a 2013 Hyundai Sonata, driven by Linda Whelchel of 1628 Otley Ave., Perry, in the 500 block of First Avenue. No injuries were reported. Damage to both vehicles was very minor.
- A 2016 Kia Soul, registered to and driven by Jeremy Quirk of 1206 11th St., Perry, collided with a 2012 Hyundai Accent, registered to and driven by Jean Paul Paulino Tejeda, near the intersection of 12th Street and Otley Avenue. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $2,000. Quirk was issued a citation for failure to obey a yield sign.
- A suspicious email was received by an employee in the 600 block of 10th Street. The case is under investigation.
January 16, 2024
- Christian Rodriguez, 30, of 2810 38th St., was arrested on a charge of driving while suspended.
