- A patrolling office of the Perry Police Department encountered a tree limb fallen in the roadway. The officer removed the limb, and the Perry Public Works Department was notified.
- A caller said “his ex is supposed to pick his child up, but he believes she doesn’t have seatbelts on the vehicle,” and “he will not let his child go with her if that is the case.” An officer responded and told the caller “to call us when she is there.”
- A caller said “her tenants advised her of someone peeping in their windows.” An officer responded.
- A caller “requested extra patrol from her mother-in-law,” who “lives out of state, but they are having civil issues,” and the caller “is afraid she will show up and cause problems.” An officer responded and “advised her to call the police department if that happens.”
- A caller said “she was bitten by a stray kitten.” An officer responded. The kitten was trapped and transported to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.
- A caller asked to speak with an officer about “her daughter” and “a friend that was wanting to come visit her.” An officer responded.
- A caller said she lost her wallet. The caller called again and said her wallet was found.
- A caller said a dog was running at large, “and her daughter is playing outside.” An officer responded but did not find the dog.
- A caller said she caught a dog running at large. As the officer was responding, the caller called again and said she returned the dog to its owner.
- A caller said “there was a bunch of kids in the shelter that were screaming really loud.” The caller said she “asked them to keep it down, and they have not done so.” An officer responded but did not find the screaming kids.
- Kathryn Lynne Starry, 35, 1815 Sixth St., Perry, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a prescription drug, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

- A caller reported “a tree on the road.” Officers responded and “removed the tree from the street.”
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
