A 2021 Kia Forte, driven by Jesus Quijas of 608 Willis Ave., Perry, collided with a 2012 Dodge Durango, driven by Marisol Cruz Ramirez of 1210 16th St., Perry, near the intersection of Lucinda and Ninth streets. Damage to Quijas’ vehicle was estimated at $17,000, and damage to Ramirez’s vehicle was estimated at $8,000. Quijas was issued a citation for failure to yield.
