June 18, 2023

  • Clifford Eugene Hanysh, 31, of 704 West St., New Virginia, Iowa, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
  • Officers received a report of harassment in the 1600 block of Willis Avenue.
  • Officers received a report of a fight in progress in the 500 block of First Avenue. The two male relatives were separated upon officers’ arrival.
  • Dustin James Kelso, 43, of 5115 Orchard Pl., Pleasant Hill, was arrested on charges of third or subsequent offense possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, third or subsequent offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana, possession of a controlled substance-mushrooms, possession of contraband in a correctional institution and possession of drug paraphernalia.

June 19, 2023

  • A 16-year-old female from Denison arrested on a charge of curfew violation.
  • A 15-year-old male from Perry was arrested on a charge of second-offense curfew violation.
  • Officers received a report of theft in the 700 block of First Avenue. The case is under investigation.
  • Officers received a report of harassment in the 1500 block of Eighth Street. An officer spoke with the parties involved.
  • Officers received a report of a theft in the 1400 block of Warford Street. A bicycle was stolen. The case is under investigation.

June 20, 2023

  • A 2008 Mazda, registered to and driven by Gerry Deljean Bacon of 1908 Evelyn St., Perry, collided with a 2023 Dodge Ram pickup, registered to and driven by Michael Douglas Lientz of 17650 J Ave., Perry. No injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $1,400.
  • Christopher Joseph Hidlebaugh, 31, of 16770 N Ave., Bouton was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
  • Martin Vidal, 35, of 1214 16th St., Perry, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for probation violation on original charges of first-offense OWI and second-offense OWI and on a Dakota County, Nebraska, warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third or subsequent offense OWI.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
