Perry Police Report June 22

June 21, 2018

  • A caller reported seeing a man who “looked to be in his late teens or early 20s, wandering around the area for the last couple of days.” An officer responded and made contact with the wanderer, who confirmed “he was wandering around” and “recently moved to town” and was “staying with a friend.”
  • A caller reported seeing a man who “was acting out of the ordinary.” An officer responded and made contact with the same wandering wanderer, who was “still looking for the friend’s house in Perry.”
  • A caller reported “a male acting suspicious around his neighbor’s yard.” An officer responded and found the wandering wanderer.
  • A caller said he saw a man “put a white and brown pit bull mix dog in a tree.” The caller said “the dog is in the tree now.” An officer responded.
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and asked to speak with an officer. An officer responded.
  • A caller reported an erratic driver. An officer responded.
  • A caller said “there would be people looking after the fireworks tents.” Officers were advised.

June 22, 2018

  • Haylee Sue Roth, 22, 1919 Warford St., Perry, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A caller said “a tree blocked the road.” Officers responded, and the Perry Public Works Department was notified.
  • A caller “requested to speak to an officer regarding the rules for selling.” An officer responded.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
