- A caller said he “did not know where he was in Perry” but “wanted officers to respond.” The dispatcher “could hear him telling a female to leave his residence,” and “she advised she was not going to do so.” The dispatcher “tried to get the address, and none was given.” The caller then hung up and turned off the phone. An officer was advised.
- Delaney Moriah Spencer, 25, 1324 1/2 Second St., Perry, was arrested on charges of driving under suspension, second-offense possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Danny Wayne Fees, 27, 913 Willis Ave., #110, Perry, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia and on a federal warrant for probation violation on an orginal charge of unlawful possession of a weapon.
- A caller reported a suspicous vehicle. An officer responded but did not find the vehicle.
- A caller reported a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Iowa Highway 141. An officer responded, made contact with the speeder and “talked to her about her driving.”
- A caller said he lost his work phone.
- A caller said she was being harassed at her workplace. An officer responded.
- Officers of the Perry Police Department responded to a call from the Perry High School and “learned a student had been handing out Tylenol from home.”
- A caller “wanted to talk to an officer concernng his daughter.” An officer responded.
- A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and “requested assistance in setting up a time to get her belongings.” An officer responded.
- A caller said “she is going to her former residence to pick up vehicles.” The caller called again and said someone “left in her truck, and she wanted to file a theft report.” The caller called again and said “she did not want to file a report because the department wouldn’t do anything anyway.” An officer was advised.
- A caller “reported a dog chasing her son,” who “fell and skinned his knees.” The caller said the “dog did not bite the boy and left the area.” An officer responded but did not find the dog.
- A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said “he sold a vehicle to” someone “but has not received payments.” An officer responded and “advised him he would have to go to small claims court or repossess the vehicle.”
- A caller said his dogs were lost. The caller called again and said his dogs were found.
- Christopher Cohea, 34, 2219 Warford St., Perry, was issued a citation for failure to yield upon entering highway.
- A 16-year-old female from Perry was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
- A caller said “one of his neighbors is on a scooter, and it’s part way off the sidewalk.” An officer responded.
- A caller said “he believes there was a domestic occurring in” a vehicle involving a man and a woman. Officers responded and made contact with the people, who said “they did get into a disagreeement, but everything was fine.” The woman said “they had split up but are trying to work on things and get back together.”
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
