October 14, 2016

  • A caller said “all four tires of her car had the air let out of them.” The caller said she “believes it was her grandson but can’t prove it.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said her sister’s house has been vacant for four years, but the caller “noticed a few days ago that in the upstairs a window was a little open, and there was a blanket over it.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded.
  • A caller said three check were returned for insufficient funds. An officer responded.
  • Scott Robert Hansen, 41, of Rippey was arrested on charges of driving under suspension, penal offenses against title law and failure to provide proof of financial liability.
  • A caller said his son’s bicycle was stolen. An officer responded.
  • A caller said “he can hear a female yelling for help.” An officer responded.

October 15, 2016

  • A caller said someone stole her television. An officer responded, located the television and returned it to the caller.
  • A caller said “her 15-year-old son is causing problems and calling her names and being disrespectful.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said he “found four baby kittens behind a sticky bush.” An officer responded, transported the animals to the Perry Animal Holding Facility and contacted the “Humane Society directly and advised of the transport due to their young age and needing to be bottle fed.”
  • A caller said she caught a cat running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding Facility. The Humane Society of Perry was notified.
  • A caller said “someone has thrown eggs at his vehicle.” An officer responded.
  • A caller reported an abandoned bicycle. An officer responded and “took the bike to the shed.”
  • Sonia Baldaras-Garcia of 2021 Fourth St., Perry, was issued a citation for fourth-offense dog at large.
  • A caller said he heard “nine gun shots in the area.” Officers responded but did not find the source of the sound.

October 16, 2016

  • Two juveniles were issued citations for curfew violations.
  • A caller asked whether an officer of the Perry Police Department could “give her a ride home as the person who transported her there is not answering.” The caller said “she has an infant.” An officer responded and gave the caller a ride home.
  • Tyler Alexander Estrada, 27, 315 N.E. Third St., Stuart, was arrested on a charge of first-offense public intoxication.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
