  • A caller said “someone ransacked his wife’s vehicle that was parked in the driveway.” An officer responded.
  • A caller reported “a man that appears intoxicated.” The caller said she “asked the man if he was okay,” and “he said he was fine, that he just wanted to lay there. Then he got up and continued walking.” A second caller reported the man “fell in the ditch.” An officer responded, and the Dallas County EMS was paged.
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and “reported to have heard gunshots in the area several times.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large and “wandered into her kitchen.” The caller called again and said “she has turned over the dog to the Boone County Humane Society.”
  • A caller from a storage business said “a unit that has been previously broken into has been broken into again.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “there was a juvenile party going on.” The caller said “there were underage people running around in the hallways, talking about drugs.” An officer responded and found “no party happening.”
  • A caller said “her car windshield was vandalized,” and “she believes her ex-boyfriend” to be “responsible.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “his long board was stolen while he was visiting a friend.” A second caller said “the longboard has been returned.” Officers responded.
  • A caller said “her locked garage was broken into sometime last night or today.” An officer responded.
  • A patrolling officer of the Perry Police Department found “a vacant house that looks like it may have been broken into.”
  • A caller said “a house” had “been broken into.” Officers responded.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
